About

Meet your coach.

Melville Smith — riding the Treasure Valley for years, coaching riders who want to actually get better, not just show up.

The rider

Years on the bike, still learning every session

Melville grew up riding dirt jumps, skateparks, and street around the Treasure Valley — the kind of riding where you fall a lot before anything clicks. That's exactly why he coaches the way he does: no shortcuts, no scripts, just real feedback based on what he sees you actually doing on the bike.

He's spent time at parks and trails well beyond Idaho — Utah, Woodward, and wherever else the riding was worth the drive — picking up the fundamentals that hold up no matter what feature you're on.

Coaching philosophy

Meet you where you're at

Every rider starts a session differently — some are working on their first pump, some are chasing a specific trick. Melville builds each session around what you actually need next, not a one-size-fits-all curriculum.

That means real progressions, honest feedback, and a plan you can keep building on after the session ends — whether you ride once a month or every day.
